Lights up on one of Broadway's most beloved musicals. This summer, our Musical Theatre Master Class takes on A Chorus Line, the story of dancers laying it all on the line for a spot in the show. Whether you've been dancing for years or you're newer to musical theatre, there's a place for you in the line. Program Details Grades 9–Adult Rehearsals: Monday–Friday, July 12–23, 2027 Flexible scheduling: Rehearsal times are built around cast availability Performances: Saturday, July 24 & Sunday, July 25, 2027 Tuition $450 ($100 deposit due at registration, remaining balance due if you are cast. If you are not cast your deposit will be refunded.) Location: From Stage to Screen Acting Studio, 79 Vineyard Avenue, Highland, NY 12528 What You'll Work On 1. Musical Theatre Dance 2. Acting Through Song: building real characters from the monologues and songs that make this show so personal 3. Solo and Ensemble Singing for the Theatre Start This Fall: Audition Prep Dance Class Want to walk into auditions feeling ready? Our Audition Prep Dance Class is designed to get you there. Over five Saturday sessions you'll build the style, stamina, and confidence that musical theatre dance auditions ask for: how to pick up a combination quickly, perform it with energy, and show who you are while you do it. Grades 9–Adult Saturdays, 4:00–5:00 PM Dates: October 17 · November 7 · November 14 · December 5 · December 12, 2026 Cost $75, or FREE with early registration for the Master Class Early registration offer: Register for the A Chorus Line Master Class by 10/16 and the Audition Prep Dance Class is included at no cost. FAQ Do I need dance experience? No. The prep class and the Master Class welcome all levels. We'll meet you where you are and help you grow. Do I have to take the prep class to join the Master Class? No, but it's a great head start, and it's free when you register early for the Master Class. How does flexible rehearsal scheduling work? Rehearsals run Monday–Friday, July 12–23. You let us know when you are available during registration and we build the schedule around those times. What should I wear to dance class? Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and close-toed shoes.
