Audition Information

There are two parts to the Cinderella - If the Shoe Fits Audition. First, a vocal self-tape is due by July 9th. Instructions on how to record and submit your vocal self-tape can be found HERE.​

 

We will then have an in-person audition, July 12th which will include reading scenes from the show.

 

Here is a breakdown of the many roles in Cinderella - If the Shoe Fits:

​

NARRATORS:  Male or female - Animated Engaging Storytellers

​

GODMOTHER: Female - Always at ease; a determined and optimistic character with a big heart.

 

CINDERELLA: Female - Lovely kind and generous aura with a clear speaking and singing voice. 

 

STEPMOTHER:  Female -  Stuffy, aloof, and cruel to Cinderella. 

 

PEARL: STEPSISTER - Self-absorbed and rude. 

 

GERTRUDE: STEPSISTER -  Disagreeable and harsh.

 

KING: Male Ruler - In charge and “no nonsense.”

 

Queen: Female Ruler - In charge with a twinkle in her eye.

 

PRINCE: Male - Pleasant, approachable and upbeat with an upbeat attitude.

 

FURRY FRIENDS OF CINDERELLA: MICE, CAT, BIRDS, BUNNIES, ETC.

 MESSENGERS: Male or Female -  Announcers of Royal Proclamations 

 

VILLAGERS: Ladies and Gentlemen of the Kingdom
