From Stage to Screen Fall Semester Update and Covid-19 Response Contract
Based on the new CDC guidelines, Governor Hochul announced the mask mandate in schools would end on March 2. The school districts surrounding From Stage to Screen have all announced they will be ending their mask mandates in response.
We have always followed CDC guidance and school policy here at FSTS, so starting on March 5th masks will be optional for all cast members. Any cast member, teacher, or family member who wishes to continue wearing a mask at rehearsals is more than welcome to. We ask that everyone be respectful of everyone’s comfort level.
The Following Policies Will Continue:
-
Hand sanitizer will be available in each rehearsal space, as well as the restroom.
-
Thorough cleaning of the studio will be completed daily.
-
If a Student feels sick we ask that they please stay home.
-
FSTS reserves the right to remove any student who does not follow these safety rules from class.
-
A Student who tests positive must self-isolate for 5 days, after that time if they test negative they are free to return to rehearsal with a mask. If the student continues to test positive they must continue to isolate for 10 days before returning to class.
Our goal is to provide the safest environment possible, however if you feel that these measures are either too lax or too strict please let us know at your earliest convenience and we will refund your deposit or apply it to a future class.
These protocols are subject to change based on CDC and State guidance.
One final note, our current plans to hold class are based off the current infection numbers in New York and state guidance, if either were to drastically change we reserve the right to cancel class at any time for the safety of everyone involved. Should this happen, you can apply any pre-payments for any cancelled months towards a future class, or we will issue you a refund for those months.
